FAQs: TruAge Testing

What are alternative blood collection methods and sample types I can return to your lab for analysis?

The Trudiagnostic laboratory only needs about 10 drops of whole blood in order to conduct a COMPLETE analysis.

Providers may use the traditional lancet and bloodspot card method, included with all TruAge test kits. They can draw the sample in-office, or allow patients to take the kit home to complete sample collection at their convenience.

Providers also have the option of sending at least 250 microliters of blood in a lavender top EDTA tube. Standard, return shipping materials included in TruAge tests will not work for this sample option, however, providers can coordinate with a TruDiagnostic team member for alternative shipping for future orders.

Who registers the sample/TruAge kit? Me or my patient?

Can my patients independently access their results? How?

Do TruAge tests sold through healthcare providers include additional and exclusive reports?
