UNDERSTANDING & USING TRUAGE DATA REPORTS

OR CONTINUE TO STEP FOUR

Understanding our

OMICm AGE

epigenetic report.

253.png

OMICm Age is a novel aging algorithm that was trained on the largest data set ever created, by scientists from TruDiagnostic and Harvard University. It uses some of the most comprehensive aging data ever collected in a single cohort to predict the age of your body through advanced epigenetic methylation algorithms.

It is also the most predictive age clock to date, and yields novel insights on protein, metabolite, and other clinical biomarkers that are impacting your biological age.

Our approach was to measure as much variation in aging through large-scale, high-powered, multi-omic analysis. By quantifying each Omic, we believed we could uncover insight into a wide variety of hallmarks of aging and other unique biological aging processes.

Additionally, our OMICm Age report calculates your risk of Death, Cancer, Stroke, COPD, Depression, Congenital Heart Disease, and Type II Diabetes.

Understanding our

DunedinPACE

epigenetic report.

254.png

Discover how fast or slow the body is currently aging. Results are reported in a fashion that compares your patient's pace of aging to 1 standard calendar year. For example, if their results are '0.8', that means their body is currently aging 0.8 years for each year that passes.

We use the exclusively-licensed DunedinPACE algorithm to calculate speed of aging. This algorithm is the product of the on-going and renowned Dunedin Multidisciplinary Health and Development Study, where researchers have followed the lives and aging patterns of 1,037 people born between 1972, and 1973 at Queen Mary Maternity Hospital, in Dunedin, New Zealand.

The study is now in its fifth decade and has produced a considerable amount of data that shapes what we know about the pace at which humans age, along with phenotypic expressions of aging; yielding the only 3rd generation aging technology currently available.

Understanding our

IMMUNE

epigenetic report.

257.png

Discover the concentration and ratios of various types of immune cells throughout your patient's body, along with how those results are associated with either an increased or decreased risk of death and disease (such as cancer and Type II Diabetes).

This report also breaks down how various lifestyle factors such as caffeine consumption and BMI impact your patient's immune cell levels.

Understanding our

TELOMERE LENGTH

epigenetic report.

260.png

Before age clocks were developed, telomere length was a popular measurement used to predict biological age. Now, it is just one of many significant biomarkers that cumulatively determine bodily aging.

Discover how long your patients' telomeres are, as well as how old their biological would be based solely on that length.

Understanding our

TYPE II

DIABETES RISK

epigenetic report.

261.png

Our Type II Diabetes Risk report examines methylation patterns on several DNA loci that have known associations with the disease.

Understanding our

INFLAMMATION

epigenetic report.

256.png

Our Inflamation report calculates DNAm CRP and DNAm IL-6 level, giving providers a look into the extent of a patient's body-wide inflammation.

Understanding our

MITOTIC CLOCK

epigenetic report.

258.png

Our Mitotic Clock report examines the cumulative number of stem cell divisions, per stem cell, per year. It also measures the median, estimated rate of division.

Understanding our

FITNESS AGE

epigenetic report.

255.png

Discover how old your patients are according to their physical fitness and functionality. This report calculates OMICm FitAge, aka overall biological age based exclusively on epigenetic biomarkers of physical performance.

Our novel OMICm FitAge Acceleration algorithm is used to calculate results included in this report, including:

   - Muscle Strength (Grip Strength)
   - Lung Function (VO2Max & FEV1)
   - Walking Speed (Gait Speed)

Understanding our

SMOKE EXPOSURE

epigenetic report.

259.png

Our Smoke Exposure report examines the methylation and aging impacts from one's lifetime exposure to tobacco smoke.

Understanding our

ALCOHOL

CONSUMPTION

epigenetic report.

259.png

Our Alcohol Exposure report examines the methylation and aging impacts from one's lifetime consumption of alcohol.

Understanding our

WEIGHT

LOSS RESPONSE

epigenetic report.

259.png

Our Weight Loss Response report determines if a patient is a non, intermediate, or full responder to caloric restriction as an effective form of weight loss.
